House Fire caused by neighboring house

According to the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), 31,000 reported vacant structure fires accounted for 6% of the 520,100 structure fires. This past weekend SERVPRO of Manahawkin got several calls regarding fire damage or smoke - soot damage from small home fires or the homes surrounding the area near these large house fires. For a specific example this house had a fire that initially began at the house next door, which then spread over to this house. As a result the house’s siding is destroyed and the fire started burning through the roof and upper end of the house, entering the attic. SERVPRO of Manahawkin will begin the restoration process for the damage that was done in the house to ensure the area is safe and smoke - soot damage free.
